The Annual Plan

A prerequisite to a successful, long term managed services engagement is the development of a strategic IT plan that will serve as a roadmap for small business management. The strategic IT plan is prepared, measured, and updated annually. It creates, based on business needs and a set of well defined requirements, the priorities for investment in infrastructure and services required ensuring that technology serves as an enabler to growth.

Most businesses operate from a business plan. Most small businesses, however, have traditionally lacked the resources required to help them fully integrate modern information technology into their business plan. Most consulting firms that focus on business planning lack practical technology implementation skills or are far too expensive to be of interest to a small business.
