SBT Partners Opens Charlotte Office

SBT Partners, a managed services integrator, has opened a south Charlotte office. The company works with small business owners to help them plan their information technology growth through outsourced services, avoiding large capital investments that small companies can find difficult to handle.

SBT Partners is focused on combining the concepts of Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Valued Added Resellers (VAR) to provide planning and implementation for small businesses through a network of partners. The individual talents of Dan Rahko and Doug Blumenthal, principles of SBT Partners, provide comprehensive client solutions. They are also offering the first month of service free through September, 2009.

“The Charlotte market for Managed Services, particularly related to smaller businesses, is in an earlier stage of development compared to Boston, where I was previously a stakeholder in a similar, successful venture. There are as many small businesses in North Carolina as in Massachusetts but North Carolina and Charlotte provide a much more compelling growth scenario,” says Dan Ranko, Senior Partner at SBT Partners. “Combine this with a long held desire to relocate to Charlotte, where I can enjoy family, friends, great weather, and a high quality of life, and it was an easy decision to make.”
