Technical Account Management is Part of the SBT Partners Annual Plan

Technical Account Management

The Technical Account Management (TAM) function is the glue that holds the annual plan together ensuring that the end-to-end processes required to implement a successful managed services strategy are in place and capable of meeting the client service level requirement.  A qualified technical account manager is available as the technical point of contact and is actively involved in all planning and deployment activities.  The TAM is also the owner of the required Stabilization and Turn-Up Phase that occurs prior to the establishment of the link to the managed services partner’s infrastructure and support center.

The information collected and provided to the client via the TAM function is invaluable in IT strategic planning and provides the substantiation for any improvements or new services that will help facilitate growth and profitability.  For a detailed explanation of this important function please link to Technical Account Management in the Knowledge Center.
