Founder & President
Dan Rahko
With over 25 years of experience in information technology, Dan Rahko brings deep expertise and strategic vision to small and mid-sized businesses. His career began at a leading Boston-based computer hardware reseller, where he quickly advanced from systems engineering and sales into leadership. Dan played a pivotal role in transitioning the company into managed services, earning an ownership stake for his contributions.
After the company’s acquisition, Dan recognized a gap in how IT services were being delivered—too complex, too fragmented, and often too expensive for growing businesses. In 2009, he launched SBT Partners in Charlotte with a mission to simplify and modernize the managed service model. The vision: a fully integrated, all-inclusive Total IT Management approach that combines technology, support, and strategic guidance into one streamlined experience tailored for small and mid-sized businesses.

Vice President of Operations
Adam Cochran
Adam Cochran, the Vice President of Operations at SBT Partners, brings over 20 years of global enterprise IT experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan. Adam is ITIL V3 certified and has earned several certifications from Microsoft and various backup and network technologies. His expertise includes Microsoft, VMware, storage, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, networking, and cloud technologies.
Adam’s IT career began in Michigan as a computer technician for a public school district. He then advanced to a Network and Systems Administrator role at a global manufacturing company, where he implemented new technologies, completed server upgrades, and managed IT-related merger and acquisition tasks.
In 2009, Adam became a Systems Engineer II at a leading CPG sales and marketing agency in Florida, managing over 1,000 Windows servers, VMware, storage, and disaster recovery systems. His outstanding work earned him the Silver Star Chairman’s Award for transitioning the company’s multimillion-dollar data center to a secure colocation facility with minimal impact.
After moving to North Carolina in 2011, Adam served as a Senior Systems Engineer at a managed services organization, providing managed and professional services to large and global clients.
Adam joined SBT Partners in 2014 as a Senior Systems Engineer and quickly advanced to Director of Professional Services in 2015, before becoming VP of Operations in 2019. He now leads a team of Client Success Engineers, overseeing day-to-day operations and providing pre-sales strategic guidance, IT road mapping, vCIO services, Client Cyber Security Insurance Compliance, and more. Under his leadership, the CSE team is dedicated to continuously refining SBT’s Solution Stack to ensure it perfectly aligns with the needs of our target market.
