Founder & President
Dan Rahko is the founder and president of SBT Partners. His over 25 years in information technology career began with a leading Boston computer hardware reseller. He progressed from systems engineering and sales into a leadership position where he spearheaded the company’s successful entry into managed services. His efforts as an innovator in creating managed service solutions created the foundation for a new line of business. He was awarded an ownership share in the company. After the company was sold, Dan relocated to Charlotte and started SBT Partners in 2009. His goal was to deconstruct the traditional managed service model and build a better and more cost-effective way to deliver IT services and solutions to accommodate the full needs of small to mid-sized businesses (SMB).
Dan created a new model with a primary focus on consultative solutions that could be adapted exclusively to meet the needs of the SMB and delivered as an all-inclusive “IT Utility Bill.” In Dan’s view, no two clients are alike. They all, however, have one thing in common. They want to focus on their primary business. They do not want to build and retain a costly internal IT delivery and support team. They don’t want to buy and own IT systems that require frequent and expensive upgrades. They want a service that will work for them today, provide for growth, and not break the bank.
Information technology has changed exponentially since Dan first began his IT journey. Today’s businesses need a total IT management solution in a world of cloud computing, ever-changing hardware and software, and cyber insecurity. A consultative organization made up of people with all the skills required to offer a total IT solution, encompassing all these elements as a service, is that solution.
Imagine one monthly “utility” bill for all your information technology needs without the expense of an internal IT group and ownership of expensive IT equipment. That’s what we’re talking about. That’s what makes SBT Partners unique.
I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the concept of a total IT management solution by using our website as a guide. Then call us.
